This is where we live!!

I recently received a summons to do jury duty....in Downtown Los Angeles. While it's not my favorite thing to do, I actually don't mind doing jury duty. But I really was not excited about the idea of sitting in traffic every day to go to Downtown. Since I was required to go though, I really tried to see the benefits to being there. It really is very interesting to see our justice system in action, and in particular in such a big courthouse often dealing with high profile cases. I also appreciated the architecture from the new Disney Concert Hall to many older buildings.

I was also thrilled that we had fall and spring weather ...in July!!! On our breaks and when I left, I got to appreciate the absolutely beautiful weather we were experiencing.

While I was sulking in traffic, someone was dreaming about their vacation here. We live here!
